Sheet metal deburring machine
The workpiece is placed on a conveyor belt and fed through the machine. Larger components are held on the conveyor by pressure rollers, while smaller components are secured by a vacuum system. As the sheet passes through, abrasive belts and/or rotating brush heads remove burrs and round edges.
Many modern machines feature double-sided processing capability, deburring and edge rounding on both the top and bottom surfaces in a single pass—eliminating the need to flip parts and significantly improving processing efficiency. The workpiece thickness is typically entered centrally via a touchscreen, with adjustable grinding head speeds and conveyor belt speeds for different materials and burr conditions.
